What can the Nest Hub 2nd generation do?
The Nest Hub can do all of the usual smart assistant things too. It can show you recipes, searches, set timers and alarms, control a large variety of third-party smart home devices and even stream a live feed from compatible smart cameras such as Google's Nest Hello doorbell.
You'll get a great digital photo frame with ambient light sensing and adaptive color. Sunrise alarm functionality helps you wake up gently with light in the 30 minutes prior to your alarm. You can view cameras, doorbells, thermostats, lights and more from the Home Control tab. There's still no built-in camera.

The Bottom Line. After installing and testing a selection of eufy security cameras, we found eufy to be a strong contender in the home security camera arena. These products are easy to install and intuitive to use, and the video quality is excellent.
Can Eufy Cameras Be Hacked? No, it's very unlikely that a Eufy camera could be hacked. While no system is 'hack proof' Eufy comes close to it, due to its military grade encryption and non cloud based footage storage via the 16GB base station.

The Eufy Doorbell works without the internet, but you will not be able to access all of its smart features. However, you will still be able to hear the chime if someone rings the doorbell, and depending on what model you have, it could also record videos locally.
300 feet Final Thoughts. To conclude, the Eufy camera can be up to 300 feet away from the Homebase, and with a Wi-Fi extender, it could be even farther. While you can extend its range using a Wi-Fi extender, this is not necessary
